My House Concert Story

I was first exposed to jazz through Progressive Rock back in the late 70's. However I went out and bought "Bitches Brew". and Coltrane's "Meditations" These are NOT the place to start your journey in Jazz! So the world of Jazz would have to wait about 2 more decades. I started getting into a lot of "Jazz adjacent" groups, like Al Di Meola, Chicago, Soft Machine, and Zappa' early 70's fusion work. since then my love and knowledge of jazz has grown & deepened but I still think of myself as a newbie.
