I love jazz because it inspires my artwork. I was first exposed to jazz by my friend in high school. It was the band ��Oregon�� at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. I still think of that show when I hear them. Over the years I��ve met many musicians, presenters and radio personalities. I really appreciate that personal connection. The best show I ever attended was...too many to mention. The first jazz record I bought was by the Baja Marimba Band. My advice to new listeners is just listen, preferably to live shows in intimate settings. Or whatever else you have in mind.
