About Me

Kim Peralta is a life-long singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and bandleader, now fully devoted to playing jazz drums.?She studied drumming in Cuba as a student of?Cuban congero/drummer Alejandro Aguiar Rodriguez from 2018 - 2021.??From 2021 - 2024 she performed with the SUNY Jazz Ensemble under Professor Chris Parker.?She now appears in various jazz combos in the tri-state region and spearheads her own projects, Hudson Valley Jazzwomen and?Blue Hearts Jazz Group. She describes herself as “drummer at large!”
