I was first exposed to jazz as a newborn. My dad was a musician and our home was always filled with his friends and their rehearsals. The first jazz record I bought was with Ella Fitzgerald, but my mom played Mahalia Jackson's christmas album all year long so I think unknowingly it shaped my taste of music and the different styles of music I listen to today. I work as a music photographer and I get to shoot a lot of musicians. I have been very fortunate to meet and photograph many great artists. And the best of all, I get to blend both my favorite things to do.
