About Me

I work for blues/jazz/gospel musician Karen Carroll as her BMI representative, promoter and editor. She is from the South side of Chicago who now resides in Germany. Karen recorded with Delmark for the most part, has over 12 Cd's in her discography and just released a new Cd as an indie artist. I find much joy in my work and Karen is marvelous. For the most part I am in the San Francisco Bay Area and I am blessed.

My Jazz Story

I love jazz because... it lets me I was first exposed to jazz... by my grandfather during afternoon beers. I met [musician name]...(many, here aer a few. B.B. King, Jeanne Carroll, Karn Carroll, KoKo Taylor, lurrie Bell, Melvin Smith, lavelle White... ... s The best show I ever attended was... Pink Floyd, PHX Arena /or/ Rolliing Stones with The Red Hot Chilli Petters at rose bowl. The first jazz record I bought was... Dihna Washington My advice to new listeners... it's all right here, keep it fresh while never forgetting where you came from. Or whatever else you have in mind.
