Delia Fischer
“Delia Fischer is a Brazilian artist of the highest quality. She sings and plays my song beautifully. She gave it a new meaning. I feel very grateful!”
Ivan Lins, singer-songwriter
“In the constant search for new forms of Brazilian music, with all its variations and roots, I have an important ally in Delia. Her concept of mixing and ?ltering Brazilian in?uences through her unique musicality and personal joy stimulates my own creative work.”
Egberto Gismonti, composer and multi-instrumentalist

Delia’s piano and voice studies started early. She studied piano with prominent Brazilian masters including classical and film composer Cesar Guerra-Peixe and famed Bossa-Nova/jazz pianist Luiz Eça (Tamba Trio), becoming a professional musician while still in her teens. She developed her singing abilities first in a choir at ProArte Music School in Rio and later worked with vocal coach Felipe Abreu. She soon built a reputation as a talented pianist and prolific composer in Brazil and Europe, including appearances at the Club New Morning in Paris, So?a Jazz Festival, and the Montreux Jazz Festival.
