Elliot Elliot
Elliot Elliot is a Stockholm-based photographer, composer and music producer.
As a composer, Elliot Elliot has released six albums where jazz is at the center. The seventh album, Get High on This! is released on October 13th.
He debuted in 2005 with the album Done. In 2013, his second album, Science and Magic came out. The album featured, among others, singer Sara Isaksson, jazz pianist Daniel Tilling and national fiddler Mats Edén. The third album, Yeah Low, was released in 2015 with musicians such as Peter Asplund on trumpet and Morgan Ågren on drums. The fourth album, Sympathy Breakthrough, was released in 2017 and is described by Lira Music magazine as jazz seasoned with folk music, cinematic tones and funk. Musicians such as pianist Mats Öberg and David Eriksson on nyckelharpa participate here. In 2019, the album Nature for President came out, featuring musicians such as pianist Adam Forkelid, vibraphonist Mattias Ståhl and Brazilian pianist Eduardo Taufic.
Elliot Elliot's sixth album Music, I Love You!, released on Naxos Prophone Records 2020. The album features musicians, such as Morgan Ågren on drums, Mattias Ståhl on vibraphone, Adam Forkelid on piano, Jonas Lindeborg on trumpet, Krydda Sundström on bass, and Daniel Tilling on piano. Lira chose the record as one of the best jazz records of the year 2020 music magazine.
