Henrique Mota
Henrique Mota graduated in Classical Piano from Fundação das Artes in São Caetano do Sul and has gained prominence in the instrumental music scene, especially in jazz and fusion. Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with great Brazilian musicians such as Toninho Horta, Filó Machado, Celso Pixinga, Thiago Espírito Santo, Cuca Teixeira, Edu Ribeiro, Nuno Mindelis, Bocato, Igor Willcox, Michael Pipoquinha, among many others. With a remarkable trajectory, Henrique has performed at major jazz and blues festivals across the country, playing both as a Sideman and Bandleader. He appeared at the 1st edition of the São Paulo Jazz Weekend, a prestigious event that featured iconic musicians from around the world, such as Dianne Reeves, Shai Maestro, Yamandu Costa, Scott Kinsey, and Arismar do Espírito Santo. His latest album, “É pra Jazz,” received critical acclaim and earned 3.5 stars on the renowned international website “All About Jazz,” solidifying his name as a reference in contemporary Brazilian instrumental music.
