I've played and worked with a large number of artists including, The Danish Radio Big Band, Danish trumpeter Palle Mikkelborg, Thomas Clausen, Creme Fraiche Big Band, Mads Vinding. Was one of the first ?jazz? musicians who received the prestigious Jacob Gade?s Grant. As a leader I've recorded the following CD?s: ?John Sund & The Danish Radio Big Band ? A Fusion Symphony? (Olufsen Records) and ?Special Venture - Special Venture? (Intermusic) with his own band Special Venture and latest ?John Sund & Acoustic Sense ? New Gems? (Cope Records), which includes among others the Ghanaian percussionist Ayi Solomon & Serbian accordion virtuoso Lelo Nika. I have moreover toured with the Somalian world-singer and Real World recording artist, Mariam Mursal and south Indian violinists Ganesh & Kumaresh.
