Joe Ryan is a local Philadelphia musician who has been captivating audiences for decades with his versatile musicianship and charismatic stage presence. A true multi-instrumentalist, Joe’s talents span genres, effortlessly switching between the soulful acoustic guitar and vocal performances, melodic improvisations of jazz guitar and the high-energy riffs of rock. Regularly performing solo acoustic shows, Joe’s vocals engage audiences from Philadelphia to the Jersey Shore. He adds his signature sound as rock guitarist and keyboardist to Americana-inspired Brother Starling as well as guitar to the New Orleans style jazz, funk band Reverend Chris and Les Garcons Crasseux. Joe’s presence displays his ability to complement any ensemble, contributing to the band’s sound with precision and passion as guitarist, vocalist or on keys.
