Juan C. Acosta, born and raised in Puerto Rico, moved to NYC on March 2007 to continue graduate studies in Jazz Performance and Composition in the New York University. Juan has a bachelor degree in music from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. A known bassist that has played with various local groups and artist in Puerto Rico like Zakandela, Angel Matos, Michael Stuart, Carlis Mu?os, Charlie Sepulveda and Ricardo Pons ,among others. Also he participate in New York with others group and artists like Mike Freeman, Pregones Theater, Los Mas Valientes, La Tribu, Desmar Guevara, Antony Carrillo, Irka Mateo.
