Early Life and Musical Beginnings
Mike Mol was born on September 20, 1998, in Terneuzen, Netherlands. His mother, a dedicated member of the Fanfare Excelsior Terhole, inspired him to take up music at a young age. At just 10 years old, Mol began playing the tuba and joined the local brass band, where he performed from 2009 to 2013. Though he eventually left the brass band to explore music independently, this formative experience laid the foundation for his lifelong passion.
In 2020, Mol rediscovered his love for brass instruments and began playing the trumpet, later transitioning to the flugelhorn. His renewed approach focused on playing from the heart, prioritizing emotional expression over technical precision.
