Active since:
Polymorphic Orkestra is an electro acoustic art music ensemble that produces improvised music using a mix of traditional instruments, media technology, audio FX and pre-recorded audio stem data. Each performance is a journey with no set pieces or tunes as such. Generally, our performances are one long set with no breaks.
The ensemble members are:

Danica Hobden's Warmbluetig

Active since:
Warmbluetig is a four-piece modern jazz ensemble drawing upon the interaction of folkloric storytelling with spontaneous improvisation. Led by Australian guitarist and composer, Danica Hobden, the music is heavily inspired by the Australian jazz music scene and its textural and gesture-rich approach to composition. The compositions set the scene for the musicians to explore their own personal expression of sincerity and melodrama, and explores weaving layers and rhythms, rich colours, playfulness and curious listening.
The band has performed in numerous venues and festivals in Hamburg and North Germany including ELBJAZZ 2024, JazzHall Summer Festival 2024, a JazzTied Television Production and performances with the Hamburger Kammerballett and acclaimed drummer Will Guthrie (FR/AUS). Warmbluetig released their debut album on vinyl in 2024, as part of a larger collaborative project between Sydney-based and Hamburg-based musicians, and a Live EP featuring Will Guthrie in 2025.
