Noah Pettibon

Born:
Baritone saxophonist, woodwind multi-instrumentalist, bandleader, and composer from Tacoma, Washington.
Born in 1998, Noah is a proud student of the baritone saxophone and the jazz tradition. Through these disciplines, he finds a niche among his peers in the Pacific Northwest scene. Being an equally dedicated bandleader, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and teacher of saxophone, clarinet, and flute, music is a second language for Noah.
His basic music education began with piano lessons at age 6 which he continued until age 10 when he began playing saxophone in school band. In high school, Noah’s love of improvisation was initiated, at which point he began studying privately on saxophone, clarinet, and flute. He is a graduate of Central Washington University (‘21) where he studied clarinet in the concert tradition, performing in CWU’s Wind Ensemble on bass clarinet and Jazz Band 1 in the baritone saxophone chair.

Jimmy Farace

From an early age, Jimmy Farace has been captivated by the beauty and expressive power of the baritone saxophone. With an unwavering belief in the instrument’s ability to tell profound musical stories, Farace has already earned praise from some of jazz’s finest voices. "Jimmy Farace’s playing and writing are the mark of someone who demands the attention of a wide audience!" says saxophonist Walter Smith III, while baritone legend Gary Smulyan describes his tone as “deeply emotional, mature, and his sound simply gorgeous.”
Based in Chicago, Farace is quickly becoming recognized as an up-and-coming voice in jazz. His upcoming debut album, Hours Fly, Flowers Die (Shifting Paradigm Records, April 2025), is a heartfelt exploration of nostalgia and time, inspired by Henry Van Dyke’s For Katrina’s Sundial. Featuring GRAMMY-winning bassist Clark Sommers, Dana Hall, Kenny Reichert, Julius Tucker, the KAIA String Quartet, and producer Greg Ward, the album showcases Farace’s original modern jazz compositions and arrangements.

Anders Svanoe

Born:
Playing mainly the baritone, but also the soprano, alto, tenor saxophones, Anders got his start in music taking piano lessons, singing in church choirs and playing saxophone in the public school band.
