Bruno Elisabetsky

Born: October 3, 1984

Born in Sa?o Paulo (Brazil) and based in New Orleans (USA), the composer, guitarist (6 and 7 string guitar) and singer explores the dialogues between the Brazilian musical tradition in conjunction with jazz and classical music, as recorded in his three works as a composer and performer released so far: Quarteto Quadrantes: Passos Largos (2013) and Sinuosa (2016) with Quarteto Quadrantes. These first two works feature participation from renowned figures in Brazilian music such as Joyce Moreno, Naylor Proveta, Toninho Ferraguti, Teco Cardoso, among others.: “traditional tales of music dominate this recording, but these musicians live for the love and danger of modern art. The passions of the underbelly of Brasilian culture inflame their work. Bruno Elisabetsky, the quartet’s composer fashions these narratives from silken melodies about the pleasures and realities of urban life. But the dusty shuffle of traditional (rural) rhythms is never far away. The gripping forms of the idiomatic tradition of Brazil run parallel to the contemporary, abstract impressionistic art” . The artist’s most recent release as a composer/guitarist is entitled "Xadrez", from 2019, recorded on a guitar trio instrumentation. “Bruno Elisabetsky is part of a Brazilian Guitar legacy of which I also belong to. Boris Grubesic

Born: July 24, 1991

Boris Grubesic, based in Stockholm, Sweden, is a guitarist and songwriter whose music blends folk, jazz, improvisational elements and pop. Influenced by guitarists and composers like Marc Ribot, Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, Leo Kottke, Barney Kessel, and Agustin Pereyra Lucena, Boris creates a unique musical narrative.

His debut solo album, 'Stundom,' released on June 19th, 2024, features a collection of guitar compositions with short tunes and improvisations.

Boris is also a member of the bands Mata Kopa and Smiling Man.

Mark Sganga

Born: September 14

2009 International Fingerstyle Guitar Champion Mark Sganga has enthralled audiences from Stockholm to Kuala Lumpur to the Thredbo Jazz Festival in Australia. His dynamic playing has been featured on tours and recordings with Indian violin virtuoso Dr. L. Subramaniam, alongside Larry Coryell and Herbie Hancock. Back in NY, Mark has appeared at Dizzy’s Club Coca Cola, The Stone, S.O.B.’s and The Bitter End. He’s performed numerous times at Iridium, often as a guest of the legendary Les Paul. Sganga has regularly participated in The Woodchoppers Ball (Kent Stage in Kent, OH). He is a repeat featured performer and a judge at The Indiana State Fingerstyle Guitar Competition

Gio Guido

Born: February 17, 1969

Gio Guido is an Italian guitarist and composer, born in Naples and based in Tokyo. Renowned for his expressive playing, technical innovation, and genre-crossing versatility, Gio has built a distinguished international career spanning jazz, funk, cinematic music, and classical guitar.

After graduating from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London in 1991, he joined The Jazz Crusaders in 1994. During his tenure, Gio performed at major international festivals and recorded two albums—Sketches of Life and Break’n da Rules. These formative years exposed him to global audiences and collaborations with top-tier musicians.

Jake Reichbart is a solo instrumental guitarist whose repertoire draws from all forms of popular music, starting with 20's-60's jazz and bebop standards, 60's-90's pop and rock classics, up to current day hits. He delights audiences by improvising countless tune requests on the spot. Depending on the situation, Mr. Reichbart is able to keep the performance strictly to music or offer, in between tunes, detailed information about the music, its history, the instrument and playing techniques, as well as humorous anecdotes and stories from his travels. To get a sense of his vast repertoire, one can sample over 1,000 solo guitar performances on his YouTube channel where he has some 50,000 subscribers, worldwide. As of October 2024, Mr. Reichbart has achieved a remarkable feat, reaching the 32th anniversary of performing weekly, Tuesday through Thursday, at the famed The Earle restaurant in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
