Sean Vokes

Born:
Sean was born in San Antonio, TX and raised with two concert pianists as parents. He has a B.M. degree from West Texas A&M University, with continued studies at the Masters level, and also holds an M.B.A. from Abilene Christian University. Sean is the founder and Executive Director of Minor Third Records, an indie label, where he has released two albums of original compositions (Reflections of Simplicity and Mundane Fascinations). Sean is currently a student of Berklee Asst. Piano Dept. Chair, Dr. John Paul McGee. He has also studied at the New York Jazz Academy and enjoys sitting in at New York Clubs like Ornithology. Sean is an active performer, composer, arranger, and accompanist. He has served as the Region Jazz Chair for the Texas Music Educators Association and was commissioned to write music for the TMEA audition process.

Viktorija Pilatovic

Born:
Viktorija Pilatovic is a Lithuanian vocalist, bandleader, composer, and educator who shares her love for jazz through her original music: poetic melodies and lyrics, modern, heart-grasping chord progressions, and virtuosic vocal performances. She is a recording artist with four releases featuring original music: "Skybridges" 2023, "The Only Light" 2019, "Stories" 2017, and "Nica's Blues" 2013. Her music has been covered in NPR live sessions, Downbeat magazine, RTVE, Discopolis Radio 3, and various other platforms.
Alongside Si?lvia Pe?rez Cruz, her voice can be heard on "Voces," the latest big band album by renowned Spanish saxophonist Perico Sambeat.
Through Berklee, she has collaborated in productions with Gilberto Gil, Victor Wooten, Michael League (Snarky Puppy), Banda Magda, and Petros Klampanis, who produced her fourth album, Skybridges, released in March 2023, featuring acclaimed Spanish flutist and saxophonist Jorge Pardo.

Saxophonist, composer, touring musician, modern music educator, best characterized as a versatile and reliable sideman; Emiliano “Emi” Vernizzi is one of the most seasoned saxophonists on the Italian music scene, whose resume reads as a “who’s who” of jazz and pop legends. He also leads and co-leads several original projects marked by a blend of influences that range from jazz, rock to funk, hip-hop, American roots, electronic and pop.
During his career, Emi is credited on more than 50 recordings and toured the US, Asia and Europe dozens of times, performing at hundreds of prestigious venues, including Blue Note (Milan, IT), Sunset Sunside (Paris, FR), Unterfahrt (Munich, DE), A-Trane (Berlin, DE), The Blue Lamp (Aberdeen, UK), ShapeShifter (NYC), Chris’ Jazz Club (Philadelphia, USA), The Maison (New Orleans, USA), Jazz Dock (Prague, CZ) and Opus Jazz (Budapest, HU). He has also graced the stage of many festivals, including the JIM Festival (China), Gateshead International Jazz Festival (UK), Jazz on5 Festival (CZ), UNESCO International Jazz Day (FR), Graz Jazz Nacht (AU), Burg Jazz (DE), Summer Fest (San Francisco, USA), Umbria Jazz (IT), Jamboree (IT) to name a few.Emiliano has collaborated with the Civica Jazz Band, which presented legendary guest artists Eddie Daniels, David Raksin, Dave Liebman, Max Roach, Bobby Watson, David Murray, Evan Parker, Paolo Fresu, Enrico Rava) and Bobby Durham, Anthony Wellington, Tommy Campbell, Fabrizio Bosso, Gianni Cazzola, Roberto Gatto.

Gabriel Bismut is a Parisian violinist and violist playing jazz and traditional music. After his studies at the Regional Conservatory (CRR) of Boulogne-Billancourt, he was in contact with internationally renowned jazz musicians such as Antonio Ciacca and Carine Bonnefoy. He has also worked and recorded with musicians from the Parisian scene such as Camille Bertault, Helena Recalde, Charlotte Wassy, Mauro Repetto and The Big Hustle. Julian Nicholas

Born:
Julian learned clarinet with Nicholas Bucknall at John Roan School, Greenwich from 1976 to 1983, when he went to York University and continued with Alan Hacker. He studied saxophone with Tony Coe, Don Rendell, Bobby Wellins. Julian didn't fit into the critics and promoters templates, necessarily, stylistically gravitating towards African rhythms with Western harmonies in his compositions, as well as the influence of folk music through artists such as John Surman, but he managed to pop up as a mainstream-to-modern freelancer with some of the legendary names of jazz from a very young age, as well as with reggae bands and on garage recordings

Marco Moura

azz guitarist and composer, based in London, originally from Porto, Portugal. With punk and psychdelic rock backgrounds, I've started to study jazz in 2012 in Porto. In 2018, enrolled the Jazz BA in Middlesex University in London. During these last years I've been playing with many people from the scene in Porto, working on function gigs and also with original music. In 2018 I also started to work in my original with my quartet, that has a line-up from Porto and another from London, recording an EP in London in the beginning of 2019, realising an album soon this year. Attila László

Having graduated as an architect from the Technical University Budapest (BME), and as guitarist from the Jazz Faculty of the Béla Bartók Conservatory, he started to play in leading Hungarian jazz bands. He founded his own band, the group „Kaszak?” in 1975, which had a really original sound. Their first record was published under the title Édenkert (Garden of Eden) in 1983. He formed the group „Things” with sax player Tony Lakatos in 1985, which functioned for a period of seven years. During his career he played with such world famous jazz musicians as Randy Brecker, Anthony Jackson, James Moody, Tommy Campbell, David Friedman, Gary Willis, Hiram Bullock, Billy Cobham, Miroslav Vitous, Peter Erskine, Bob Mintzer, IlaiyaRaaja, Jimmy Haslip, Russell Ferrante and Patti Austin.
