The debut album of Aarni H?kkinen as a big band leader. Album consists of seven original compositions by H?kkinen and features the creme de la creme of Finnish jazz musicians. The compositions demonstrate H?kkinen's ability to navigate music with strong knowledge of tradition but with boldness to challenge the frames set by his predecessors. Album was released in April 2023 by Bopcat Records and is available as limited edition CDs & LPs as well as in streaming platforms.
