Album Description

"Athvarf" (2019) was Icelandic vocalist Mar��na ?sk's debut solo album. The music is greatly inspired by the acoustic singer/songwriter soundscape with a jazzy touch. The album was mostly recorded live and received stellar reviews. It received two nominations for the Icelandic Music Awards in 2021, for "Composition of the year" and "Album of the year" in the Open-Genre category, as well as being selected to be the "Album of the week" on Iceland's biggest radio station, R��s 2.
