Br?tzmann with two basses is a treat. Add the deft and inventive drumming of Lillinger, plus (don't sleep on this) the talents of Oliver Schwerdt and you've got the carnival of the year.
Note: there is also a mini-CD, Biturbo!, Capt'n (Euphorium Records, 2019) by the trio of Br?tzmann, Lillinger, and Schwerdt available. Big Bad Br?tzmann Trio's 15-minute tour de force "Ol' Capt'n (Biturbo Kings)" was the opening of the above concert. It blew the cobwebs out of the club, probably chased a few unsuspecting listeners away. Insert smile emoji here. ">
