The concert, which begins at 7:00 PM, will be at the Terrace Theater in the Kennedy Center complex, and will also feature the Tia Fuller Quartet and JaLaLa. The festival continues on May 20 and 21 with concerts featuring Dee Dee Bridgewater, Dianne Reeves, Cassandra Wilson, Terri Lyne Carrington, Five Play, and many other outstanding musicians. The Kennedy Center is located at 2700 F Street NW in Washington, D.C.
The Jamie Baum Septet will follow its Mary Lou Williams festival concert with an appearance in Baltimore on May 20 at the An Die Muzik jazz club. In June, Jamie Baum will bring her ensemble to Europe, with performances at the Südtirol Jazz Festival Alto Adige in Bolzano, Italy (June 25) and Jazzlent, a jazz festival within the multi-faceted Festival Lent, in Maribor, Slovenia (June 27.)
