saxophoneSince its release on September 2022, two of the eight tracks from Subject To Change have been selected by the “Fresh Finds Jazz” and “All New Jazz” Spotify editorial playlists and are currently receiving radio airplay with strong feedback.
The title track Subject to Change" originated during studio sessions and was influenced by some band interplay where suspended harmony flowed into a groove with a signature ending. The other songs are more jazz-oriented with a fusion/prog twist. Each of the tunes single covers are experiments with Artificial Intelligence generated artwork. The paintings were generated via AI software and fed by the song description, allowing for several reshaping iterations from the initial idea. From the most classic looking and colourful paintings for Subject to Change" and Electric Wok" to the most enigmatic one for Silent letter to chordie" reflecting the song's darker mood.
The Titus Maz quartet performs actively around London and after successful album launches have built a collective sound that always delivers live.
