The CD will be released on the Reykjavik Jazz Festival, August 28th, but until then it is available for pre-order exclusively from Bandcamp, including an immediate download of the album and a 5 page pdf of extended liner notes. The title track “Remote Location" is a reference to the drummer's home of seven years, and the homesickness that goes along with being a transplant. The other compositions are named for places and people that inspired him (the closing piece is a tribute to the late
