Phish at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium

What a ride! Phish lit up the Bill Graham Civic auditorium in San Francisco for two incredible nights (April 22 -April 23) packed with joy, jams, and pure musical magic. Night one was a 1.0 lover's dream—packed with fan-favorites like "Axilla (Part II)," "Mike's Song," "Weekapaug Groove," "Roggae," "Maze," "Split Open and Melt," "Carini," and "Down with Disease," all capped with a perfect "Fluffhead" encore. There were some beautiful moments of bliss too, with "Roggae," "Waste," and "What's the Use?" giving the crowd a breather, cooling things down before picking the heat back up with mind-bending jams in "Halley's Comet," "Carini," and "Ruby Waves"—all pushing into those stunning type 2 territories we love.

Just when it felt like it couldn't get any better, night two somehow topped it. It kicked off with a fired-up "Simple" to get everyone engaged and ready for what was to come. The rest of set one didn't disappoint: a deep, funky "Punch You in the Eye," a playful "Gumbo," a soaring "Reba," and a slamming "David Bowie" made it a first set for the ages. Then set two blasted off—a monster "Tweezer," a "Crosseyed" dance party, and a gloriously funky "You Enjoy Myself" to close it out. The band surprised us by skipping "Tweezer Reprise," instead wrapping up the night with some beautiful, reflective moments like a dreamy "Lonely Trip" and a heartfelt "Wading in the Velvet Sea." Of course, they couldn't leave without a high-energy "First Tube" encore.
