Band created in 2007 by Gon?alo Lopes on clarinet-bass and Nuno Dami?o on trumpet with the purpose of creating and improvising melodies within the diversity of scales and rhythms of Mediterranean music. Initially Al- ji?? collaborated with several percussionists in rehearsals and performances and in 2011, with bassist Francisco Artur and drummer Vitor Costa, was recorded the first cd 'Mostar', named after the Bosnia-Hezergovina city. Mostar ' was well received by critics (Time Out, Jornal de Letras, radio Antena 2) and was promoted at festivals such as Andan?as, Avante, Junta-te ao Jazz and at several venues in Lisbon as the MusicBox, Bacalhoeiro and Cafe Tati. In 2013, Nuno Dami?o wrote a set of songs inspired by the novel 'Snow ' by Orhan Pamuk, which resulted in the CD ‘Estórias de Kars’
