Daniel Casares

Born: July 21, 1995

Daniel Casares is a jazz guitarist and composer from A Coruña, Spain. He studied at the Berklee College Of Music from 2014-2018 under the mentorship of Terence Blanchard, Dave Santoro, Darren Barrett, Kenny Werner, Mick Goodrick, Tim Miller, and many more. As a student he led a weekly set at the historic Wally's Jazz Cafe in Boston. After graduation, Daniel lived in New York City and was able to perform regularly as a sideman in the city's venues and clubs. He moved back to Galicia in 2019, where he performs often as a leader and sideman at the region's main musical venues. He completed a master's degree at SOAS University of London in 2022. In recent years, Daniel has performed at prestigious venues and festivals in the United States, Europe, and India.

Evan Palmer

Evan Palmer (they/them) is an improviser, bassist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and educator based in Brooklyn. They specialize in avant-garde and improvised music.

?Raised in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, Palmer moved to Boston in 2018 to attend Berklee College of Music, where they studied with John Lockwood, Francisco Mela, Bob Gullotti, Bruce Gertz, Bruno Räberg, and Linda May Han Oh. They graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Music in Bass Performance.

?Palmer's music draws from a wide variety of influences. These include jazz, Latin, European classical, and folk, but with a focus on improvisation, avant-garde music and experimentation

Joel Jeschke

Born: April 24, 1995

Joel Jeschke is a sought-after drummer and band member across multiple genres, from rock to jazz. Having performed and recorded with countless artists including rock bands such as Royal Tusk (MNRK Records) and Whale and the Wolf, to modern jazz  artists; Aretha Tillotson, Stephanie Urquhart Quartet and Brett Hansen. Joel now turns his attention to his debut album as a composer and bandleader on “Time & Place”.

Sothiac with Paul Jolly

Born: March 13, 1850

Paul Jolly is saxophonist / clarinettist, who after meeting the pianist and composer Mel Davis in 1964, began to explore jazz and improvised music. In 1969 he joined the People Band an improvising group formed by Davis and the percussionist Terry Day. The Band currently continues to work both in the UK and internationally. He has performed and recorded in a wide variety of creative music projects - including two years as Musical Director for the Intriplicate Mime Company, major European tours with the People Band, Big Chico, Mummy and Loverly �C featuring the singer Maggie Nicols

Michael Staron

Acknowledged in Jazz Times as “a versatile, forwarding looking and accomplished performer,” Michael began his professional career playing Latin Tropical music in Chicago’s inner city at age fifteen. 

His jazz bass playing has been reviewed in Cadence, Pulse, Jazz USA, Jazz Review, Jazz Word, Jazz Weekly, AMG, New City, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, The Wire, Jazz at a Glance, Beyond Coltrane, Chicago Reader, All About Jazz, Progression Magazine, and live performances of Michael have been aired on BET, 190 North and local cable. 

Michael is also an accomplished theatre / pit musician, his performance credits include national tours of Evita, the international and national touring companies of A Chorus Line, Sid Caesar, Red Skelton, Bob Newhart, Eddy Arnold, Roger Williams and Joseph with Donny Osmond. 

Steve Tintweiss

Born: July 12, 1946

ASCAP Composer, Bassist, Bandleader, Producer of Steve Tintweiss Spacelight Band, the Purple Why Free Jazz Legacy, and Inkwhite Productions for Ultra Music Frontier. Founder/Chairman of New York Free Music Committee presenting summer concert series at Forest Park Bandshell in Queens for almost 40 years. Bass player on historical recordings with Albert Ayler, Patty Waters, Burton Greene, Frank Wright and many other innovators. As a concert organizer he has always emphasized mixing presentations of avant-garde jazz and new music, often combined with classical soloists, poets, and cutting edge rock groups for public audience events

Rafa Selase is an American soul and jazz pianist, musician, artist and songwriter most notably known for his work as a spoken-word performer and jazz pianist. His initial release, Meditation Music By Rafa Selase, reached #8 on the Billboard New Age Relaxation charts.
