Pawe? Czarakcziew

Born:
Cellist, chamber musician, and educator, Pawe? Czarakcziew made his stage debut at the age of six at the Kraków Philharmonic. Four years later, he performed as a soloist with the Academy of Music in Kraków orchestra under the baton of Stanis?aw Krawczyński at the Polish Embassy in Paris.
He is a recipient of scholarship from the Polish Minister of Culture and National Heritage. In 2022, he was awarded the prestigious Fulbright Junior Research Award, which allowed him to conduct research at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles under supervision of prof. Josh Kun.

Rupert Gillett is a British cellist, bassist, composer and producer. He is an internationally respected jazz cello player and a specialist in many alternative cello techniques. Over the years, he has performed with numerous ensembles in a variety of genres, both on cello and double bass. He has played concerts and festivals all over the world as well as locations such as Buckingham Palace, the Orient Express and at the Paralympic Games. He has also performed many times on BBC Radio and television and worked extensively as a studio musician.

Naomi Gee Wright

British cellist/composer, Naomi Gee Wright, is the founder and leader of the Naomi Gee Wright Band. Her new album, Meteor Trail, is released on Oti-O Records. Nabi Cabestany

Born in Barcelona, Nabi Cabestany began his musical training at the Escolania de Montserrat. He graduated from the University of the Arts in Berlin, where he studied under Professor Wolfgang Boettcher. He then joined the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he received a Diploma of Higher Education and Performance. He obtained the prestigious Artist Diploma from Indiana University, studying cello with Janos Starker and chamber music with Menahem Pressler. He was awarded the Prize of Honor at the International Maria Canals Competition in Barcelona.
Nabi Cabestany is active in various domains and styles. He regularly performs chamber music repertoire, leading him to give concerts in Europe, Japan, and the United States, alongside musicians such as James Campbell, Renaud Capuçon, Maxim Rysanov, and Christian Zacharias.

Featuring leading lights of the London alternative jazz scene, The Nonidentical combines ferocious improvising with intricate compositional textures. The band came to be out of a series of experimental nights curated by composer and multi-instrumentalist Zac Gvi that brought musicians together with dancers, performance artists, poets and actors to collaborate and explore their differences and common ground. Their forthcoming debut album “Material Tropes” is a politically charged record written in response to the London riots of 2011, Situationism and the climate crisis that revisits the question of whether and on what terms music can engage with ideas outside itself.

Evergreen is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and cello teacher who grew up in the vibrant Austin music scene. Raised as a classical cellist, by the time she was 25 she had performed on stage with musicians such as Sarah Chang, Father John Misty (opening for Paul McCartney), Chris Brubeck, members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and The Eagles. After leaving conservatory, she studied Afro-Indigenous Brazilian folk music and studied improvisation with cello goblin Rushad Eggleston. Evergreen utilizes music to creatively and emotionally empower people of all ages and from all walks of life by maintaining a private lesson studio as well as by participating in musical and workshop collaborations with her colleagues in Austin and abroad.

Tamar Sagiv

Praised for her unique and deep sound, New-York based cellist Tamar Sagiv, recipient of the Zubin Mehta certificate of honour and creator of the #backinthepark project, is one of the most unique voices in the NYC cello scene.
?Recipient of several scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation (AICF) for cello studies, she performed various concerts in venues such as Lincoln Center, Alice Tully Hall and Carnegie Hall. Additionally, Tamar recorded several broadcasts for the Israeli National Radio.
?Tamar Sagiv was born on December 6th 1994 in a small town in the north of Israel. She started her cello studies at the age of 8 with Uri Chen in the Klor Music Center in Kfar Blum. At the age of 15 she started studying at the Israeli Arts and Science Academy in Jerusalem and continued her cello studies with Mr. Hillel Zori in Tel-Aviv. At that time Tamar joined the Jerusalem Music Center (JMC) Outstanding Young Program Unite where she played as the leader of the cello section in the Israel Young Philharmonic Orchestra and in the chamber music programs.
