Arnab Sengupta

Born: September 22, 1977

Arnab Sengupta is a contemporary singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in Bangalore, India. With a musical journey spanning over three decades, Arnab’s work stands at the confluence of lyrical sensitivity, jazz-rooted sophistication, and deeply personal storytelling.

Drawn to music with quiet intensity from a young age, Arnab immersed himself in the study of Western contemporary styles—particularly jazz—long before he began writing his own songs. By 2006, after years of listening, transcribing, and honing his craft, he began composing original work that fused instinct with introspection.

Simona Pop

Born: April 2

Simona 'Simi' Pop (producer, composer) A classically trained pianist turned self-taught saxophonist, Simi co-founded the Jazz Band in Baia Mare, Romania, receiving recognition from the Pro Muzica Foundation. She then played saxophone on national TV and at the Bucharest-based Dakino Film Festival. Later, in New York City, she played with Cabana Rock and currently forms the jazz duo SiMiDaNi. Simona holds a BA in Opera Directing and earned her master's at Hunter College, CUNY. She directed contemporary operas in Romania, commissioned by The Ernst von Siemens Foundation, Bucharest National University of Music, and Bucharest Goethe Institute

Since When?

Born: March 15

Since When? was formed by guitarist, bassist and composer Terence Culpepper . Their music is a fusion of jazz, rhythm & blues and Brazilian styles which reflect the range of influences Mr. Culpepper has been exposed to throughout his musical career. Since When? also performs arrangements of songs written or performed by the artists who haveinfluenced Mr. Culpepper's own compositional style which includes Antonio Carlos Jobim, Sade, The Rippington's and others. Remarks Mr. Culpepper on his approach to covering other composer's songs:

"When we begin to do another composer's song, I don't want the audience to recognize the song untilabout the 16th to 24th bar!"

Yayo Morales

Born: July 10

Yayo Morales was born in La Paz, Bolivia. He studied at the National Conservatoire of Music from 1983 to 1989 and after that he moved to Madrid, Spain to complete his studies at the E.M.C. (Escuela de Música Creativa) from 1990 to 1994 where he earned a music degree in Drums, Harmony, Arranging, and Composition. In 2012 in Brussels, Belgium he earned the EMMEN diploma (European Professional Music Qualification) with a Specialty in Jazz. He also has a Master of Arts (MA) in Film Scoring and Video Game Music using New Technologies, graduated Summa Cum Laude from The Complutense University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain. 

Steve Adorno

Born: April 30, 1957

Funk-Rock-Latin-Soul Steve is a natural born musician. When hes working his magic on his first instrument, the drums, Steve instinctively knows how to lay it in the pocket. His solid Bronx backbeat has powered several name acts such as Sara Dash,Natalie Cole, Phyllis Hyman,Jerry Butler,  Linda Hopkins and Kid Creole and the Coconuts. In 1980, Steve joined Arista platinum recording artist G.Q., whose three #1 hit singles include the now classic dance hit Disco Nights. Steve received both gold and platinum albums for his work with G.Q. Extensive world touring has brought him to many large venues such as Soldiers Field in Chicago, Cobo Arena in Detroit, Giant Stadium in New Jersey, Madison Square Garden in NYC, and The Winter Splash Music Festival on the island of Jamaica

Shueh-li Ong

Shueh-li is best known for the way she melds electronic-pop-rock-jazz, with her fav sci-fi instrument; the theremin, synths, tin-whistle, piano, and sound design. Shueh-li has recorded and produced 4 CDs and several singles to date. Australian born Shueh-li (Shelley) is known as 'Singapore's 1st & only diva of the theremin', and in Nashville as their 'Queen of the theremin'.

Though she has been compared to such self produced artists as Kate Bush, Madonna, and Yoko Kanno, Shueh-li's sound is very much her own.

Shueh-li is also founder & leader of Xenovibes (electronic-prog band.) Artists who have worked with her include Dean Parks, Shelley Carrol, Curtis Randall, Chuck Smith, Mike McKinney. 

Todd Sickafoose

Todd Sickafoose is a Tony and Grammy award-winning composer, producer, arranger, orchestrator, bandleader and double bassist. He has performed on hundreds of recordings, toured internationally, appeared at music venues and festivals from Carnegie Hall to New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, and played on national television and radio programs including the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Show with Conan O’Brien, The Artists Den, and NPR’s Mountain Stage. Known as a musical cross-breeder who stretches across genres, Sickafoose has been described by the San Francisco Chronicle as “a captivating improviser, imaginative composer, and master of collaboration”.

Roan Kearsey-Lawson

Prolific across most musical genres as both a virtuoso Performer and commissioned Composer. Roan Kearsey-Lawson is ��a talented multi-instrumentalist and composer�� (Ian Maund, 2014), a Classical Timpanist, Classical World & Jazz Marimba Player, a Classical Percussionist and Piano player, and a experienced Theatre Drum Kit performer. He is ��Described as One of the World��s Greatest Vibes Players�� (Club for Acts & Actors, London, June 2017). Roan has worked with the likes of Scott Hamilton and Darius Brubeck, and so many more. As well as working with the who's who of jazz he has performed in many prestigious venues as a guest artist

Igor Kogan

Born: July 29

Igor Kogan is a jazz artist, bassist, composer and bandleader. He has performed at prestigious venues and festivals in U.S., Canada and Europe, including Jazz at Lincoln Center and Steinway Hall (New York), Bern Jazz Festival (Switzerland), Toronto Music Festival (Canada), Red Sea Jazz Festival (Israel); and appeared at renowned jazz clubs Smalls, Zinc, Fat Cat (New York); Herb Alpert��s Vibrato, Blue Whale, Vitellos, The Lighthouse (Los Angeles) among other venues.

Born in Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia, he started to play violin at age 7. He immigrated to Israel at the age of 15 where he simultaneously pursued his interest in music and science, and started to play bass and compose music
