Zhengtao Pan

Born: May 22, 2003

Zhengtao Pan is a composer and arranger born in 2003 who grew up in Shanghai, China. Currently studying Jazz Composition and Composition at Berklee College of Music, his commercial game works include "Mist Sequence," "Lost Soul Aside," "One Piece: The Bloodline," and "Arknights," among others. He has worked on music outsourcing for companies like ByteDance, Masaya Games, and miHoYo.

Beyond media scoring, Zhengtao Pan excels as an arranger and orchestrator for jazz orchestras and Big Bands, with his concert music premiered by ensembles like the HyperCube ensemble, Cascadia Composers, and Webster University.

Graeme Wilson

Graeme Wilson is a saxophonist whose playing features on over 30 albums including releases by his own Quartet, Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra, ACV, Ushaw Ensemble and Bill Wells. His writing for ensembles large and small, including six jazz works for John Warren’s Voice of the North Jazz Orchestra, has been performed at venues such as Sage, Gateshead and Festspielhaus Hellerau, Dresden. Recent work includes duo releases A Cast of Thousands with Raymond MacDonald and Shoes for Losers with Andy Champion; an album of songs based on Italo Calvino stories for new group Monsterosa featuring vocalist Rebecca Hollweg; and  a score commissioned by Hexham Jazz Festival for the silent film Die Bergkatze

Jamie Pye

Born: September 21, 1996

Jamie Pye is a London-based jazz guitarist and composer with roots in both Australia and New Zealand. He performs in various line ups and contexts; from intimate duo residencies, to headline performances as a bandleader showcasing his original music. He is often part of house bands for jam sessions around town, or as a sideman on other projects. 

In 2023, Jamie completed his first 10-date national tour around New Zealand, including appearances at the Creative Jazz Club in Auckland and Hanover Hall in Dunedin. In between shows, Jamie recorded his debut album ‘Monochrome’, set for release in November on Inward Bound Records. 

Michele sanna

Born: November 1, 1981

Michele Sanna was born in Cagliari (Italy) in 1981. He graduated in Composition at "G.Verdi" Conservatory in Milan under Gabriele Manca and obtained Master in Composition at Accademia di Santa Cecilia in Rome under Ivan Fedele. He took scolarships from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Ente Musicale Nuoro Jazz and Regione Autonoma in Sardinia. Since 2010 he collaborates with many conductors, soloists and ensembles from all over the globe (Sentieri Selvaggi, Ensemble Multilate?rale, Domenico Melchiorre, Francesco Ciminiello, Flavio Tanzi, Laura Catrani, Dario Garegnani, Repertorio Zero, Gilbert Imperia?l, Divertimento Ensemble, Mark Perkarsky Percussion Ensemble, Ensemble Aleph, Ljuba Bergamelli, Ensemble Nikel, David Brutti, Blowup Percussion Quartet, Neuverband Ensemble fur neue musik, Emanuela Battigelli, Meitar Ensemble, Syntax Ensemble, Ensemble Modern)

Noshir Mody

Born: October 9, 1972

Noshir Mody, an esteemed composer, guitarist, and producer, continues to make significant contributions to the world of music. Born in Bombay, India, Mody's passion for music was evident from an early age. He immersed himself in the rich tapestry of Indian classical music and was heavily influenced by his cultural roots. As he grew older, his love for jazz, progressive rock, and other genres led him to explore new horizons and develop his own unique style.

Mody moved to the United States at the age of twenty-two and successfully sustained a career in both music and technology. As a self-taught musician, he refined his skills on the guitar and immersed himself in the vibrant New York City jazz scene. Over the years, Noshir Mody has crafted a distinctive sound that melds the intricate textures of Indian classical music with the improvisational elements of jazz and the emotive power of progressive rock. This eclectic fusion of genres reflects not only Mody's personal journey but also the universal language of music that transcends cultural boundaries. His innovative approach has earned him a loyal following and critical acclaim from industry experts and peers alike.

Eduardo Rojo

Born: February 13, 1979

His work is characterized by the influence of different kind of music, principally folk, classical and jazz music. He has worked with Mr. Dennis Mackrel (Count Basie, Maria Schneider, Mel Lewis Orchestra…), Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, Franco D’Andrea, Nederlands Blazers Ensemble, AKOM Ensemble, the flamenco guitarist Gerardo Núñez, the flamenco dancer Carmen Cortés, Codarts Big Band, Peter-Jan Wagemans, Paul M. Van Brugge, Tim Kliphuis, Barga Jazz Orchestra, Canary Islands Big Band, The New Music Ensemble of Rotterdam and Sole Giménez, among others.

Mat��as Formica

Born: December 11, 1986

Born in the city of La Plata. Flutist, saxophonist, composer and arranger. He began his studies of transverse flute at the age of 14 (year 2000) with maestro Martín Saenz. He studied with Pablo Ledesma, Rodrigo Domínguez, Juan Pablo Di leone, Juan Pablo Arredondo, among others. In 2013 he attended the workshops of popular music in Curitiba (Brazil), participating in the MPB (Brazilian popular music) ensemble in charge of André Marques and the improvisation perception workshop in charge of Lea Freire.  In 2019 he attended the SIM program in New York, and took classes with Tony Malaby, Tim Berne, Ralph Alessi among others. He participated in various projects, as instrumentalist arranger and composer, Matías Formica group, Mingus Project, El Domo, Quinteto Ledesma / Alarcón / Edward / Carracedo / Formica, José Perez Vargas Group (JPV), H.u.M.o, among several others.

Mauro Gargano

Born: May 5, 1972

My name is Mauro Gargano, I was born in Bari in 1972 in Puglia, southern Italy. I do not come from a family of musicians. There was a slightly different music in my childhood house�� My father was a racing driver, the rustle of engines accompanied my early life until my adolescence. But thanks to my grandfather��s and sister��s record collection, I enjoyed and loved music, in all styles, since I was very young. I started studying jazz with the electric bass with the bassplayer and organist Vito di Modugno and then double bass with Maurizio Quintavalle. Then I followed the Siena Jazz seminars in Italy, with Paolo Fresu, Furio di Castri, and Marco Tamburini

The Arcangelo Pezzella Project is not just the name I use to register my recordings; it's my idea of jazz. It has no boundaries; it cannot be strictly confined in a style, a groove, a sound, and not labeled in any way. On the contrary, it blends a world of sounds to create new ones. That is my aim: trying to create new things from old ones, exploring idioms, rules, harmonic choices, grooves and more, and finding new ways to express what I am, feel and think. To do so, the need for incredibly talented and like-minded musicians is of the utmost importance and, luckily, I found them: Guido Foi (piano and keys), Alessandro Petricciuolo (bass), Francesco Pellegrino (drums) and featured artist Angela Addezio (vocals). "Out Of The Blue", shows the results of it: no track is the same, and yet they are linked in unexpected ways, leading the listener from a world to the next one in a smooth and smart way.
