Lars Fiil

Born:
Lars Fiil is a Danish pianist and composer currently residing in Copenhagen, Denmark.
He released his first album as a leader in 2011, when the album Lars Fiil Quartet “Reconsideration” came out. It received great reviews and was nominated for a Danish Music Award. Lars Fiil Quartet also won the prestigious competition Young Jazz in 2010.
Since then he has released 7 albums in his own name. The latest, New Ground (2024), blends acoustic soundscapes with ambient electronic textures, creating a sound that simultaneously points forward and backward in time, offering a fresh take on modern Nordic jazz.

Ashlae Blume

Ashlae Blume is an American musician, composer and producer based in and out of New Orleans and New York City.
Born in Baltimore, they began to study piano and trumpet at the age of 5, and were composing music as early as age 6. Upon moving to New Orleans in 2008, Ashlae began performing regularly both in and out of clubs as a vocalist, accordionist, pianist, and trumpetist. They have gone on several tours throughout North America and Europe, leading projects of original music, hot jazz, and solo performance, in addition to playing with a wide variety of other groups.
Their primary musical project, Laelume, has a rotating cast of characters, and is a concept body of work that draws on elements from minimalism, genres of global folk music, jazz and black american music

Arktet is a new trio from Melbourne/Naarm, recently formed by three virtuosos in their fields: Robert Vincs on woodwinds, Niko Schauble on drums and Adam Nash on generative virtual environments. They came together to push the envelope of improvisatory music practice, based around Adam's 'generative virtual environments'. These are playable audiovisual environments, like game worlds, coded to generatively compose on the fly, different every time they're played. Rob on saxes and flute, and Niko on drums, respond to and build upon these environments, using their immense experience in improvisation to create immersive new worlds of sonic experience.
