Ronny deCarlo

Born: April 28, 1992

Ronny deCarlo is the moniker of the Dutch/Colombian guitarist and producer Roenik Roa Espinosa. 

His project Fonque Nouveau is about finding a fresh and soulful sound, combining the adventure of jazz with the bombastic beats of hip hop, brought to life by a dynamic band that combines raw live energy with a modern, electronic and cinematic sound. 

Ronny’s soundscape also weaves in contemporary influences, drawing from Afrobeats and Trap Soul to create a lush musical tapestry.

A winner of 2023's 'The Records', a competition by the Keep an Eye Foundation, Ronny utilized his prize to record his debut album Fonque Nouveau, which received accolades in the Dutch jazz scene as well as an Edison Jazz 2024 (Dutch grammy's) nomination in the category 'Newcomer'.

Roman Gastelum

Born: November 11, 1990

Roman Gastelum is an acoustic & electric bassist, vocalist, lyricist and composer based in Los Angeles, CA. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance from Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. His influences range from Jazz, Hip-Hop, Funk, Soul, Country, Classical, Electronic, Alternative, Indie, Rock and Pop music. Roman is active on the Los Angeles music scene today whether he is recording, performing live on stage, an enthusiastic private lesson instructor, a thoughtful lyricist, or composing artistically and commercially. Roman is the bassist, vocalist and lyricist of his eclectic progressive rock project - Jigsaw Falling.

St��phane Mercier

Born: June 6, 1970

Coming from a family surrounded by music and musicians, Stéphane Mercier studied different instruments early on before focusing on the saxophone and the flute, composition and arrangement. After studying at Berklee College of Music in the mid-90’s, he intensively toured with Mark Turner, Seamus Blake, B.Connection, Exile Society...then moved to Brooklyn, NY (95-02), where he played and/or recorded with a.o. Aaron Goldberg, Chris Cheek, Avishai Cohen, Randy Brecker, Jeff Ballard, Ingrid Jensen, Matt Penman,… Stéphane moved to Paris for a couple of years before Brussels, where he currently resides

Stix Bones

Brooklyn, USA, home to some of the greatest talents the world has ever known; delivers another talented individual whose gift has made him one of the finest musicians in the New York, Tri �C State Area. Recording Academy Member Stix Bones graduated Purchase College, State University of New York with a Bachelor��s Degree in Jazz Performance. Stix started his career touring with Rahzel The Godfather of Noise in the UK and France and touring the U.S. with 5 time Showtime at the Apollo winner/Author/Poet Jessica Care Moore. Shortly after Stix became music director for Lyricist Lounge (A hip hop showcase of rappers, emcees, DJs, and Graffiti artists and collaborated with legendary Hip Hop acts such as De La Soul, Talib Kweli, Q-Tip, Yasin Bey, Common, and Doug E Fresh Stix independently released his first full-length Smooth Jazz album entitled "Groove Like This"

Ryan Marquez

Born: August 11, 1986

Na?ssam Jalal

A vertiginous flautist, vocalist and prolific composer, Naïssam Jalal shines through her ability to forge links between different musical cultures and aesthetic fields. Through encounters, imaginaries and memories, she presents a unique work for each new creation. She deconstructs borders and invents a singular language that invites us to open up to multiple horizons.

Naïssam Jalal has received many prestigious awards, including the Grand Prix de l’Académie Charles Cros 2017, the Victoire du Jazz (French Grammy) in 2019 (+ 3 nominations), the Prix des Musiques d’ICI 2020 and the Premier Prix Jazz at the International Songwriting Competition 2022.

SM Shahbaj

Born: April 12, 2002

SM Shahbaj (born : April 12, 2002) is an independent artist from Bangladesh. He is a hiphop, house, jazz, chillout beat creator. Shahbaj started by posting song covers on his YouTube channel. Few months later he think about create his music. And he start making beat music. Those provided by his videos sparked a new following for the artist. In July 2020 Shahbaj released his first single City Colours and later released his EP dark hiphop instrumental, Darkest Nightmare in August 2020. And then he constantly released single instrumentals like Fuzzy Sky, Death Dreams, Chilled Boozer, Thousand Nights.... He��s constantly releasing new singles and encouraging people to follow his journey and inspiring them to pursue their dreams.

Mike Casey

Born: June 10, 1993

Saxophonist, songwriter, and teaching artist Mike Casey has been a fixture on the Hartford jazz scene and beyond since 2011, when he began attending the acclaimed Jackie McLean Institute of Jazz at the University of Harford’s Hartt School. In 2015, Mike was one of 24 young jazz composers worldwide chosen by Jason Moran to participate in the prestigious “Betty Carter Jazz Ahead” Program at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC where he studied with an all-star faculty including Eric Harland, JD Allen, Eric Revis, Cyrus Chestnut, and Jason Moran.

After a sold out NYC debut at the Minton’s in Harlem in September 2016, Mike went on to accomplish an incredible feat: the crowdfunding campaign for his debut album "The Sound of Surprise: Live at The Side Door" (due for a February 2017 release) reached 111% funded in under 30 days. His resume includes appearances with Charles Tolliver, DJ Logic, Brandee Younger, Zaccai Curtis, Tarus Mateen and Marc Cary, whose project “The Harlem Sessions” features Mike as an original member.

Lushh

Born: February 18, 1996

Lushh is an electronic jazz band based out of Kalamazoo, MI. The band has been together since late 2015, after meeting through the Jazz Studies program at Western Michigan University. While merging their jazz roots with more modern and contemporary styles, Lushh draws their influences from the likes of Kneebody, Donny McCaslin, Hiatus Kaiyote and much more. Lushh frequently performs around the Midwest, particularly in Michigan, collaborating with various musicians and artists. In addition to performing, Lushh teaches masterclasses at local Michigan high schools. Recently, Lushh performed at the Audiotree Music Festival in Kalamazoo, MI
