She has achived significant recognition and success as a performer specializing in contemporary music.

Walentynowicz's accomplishements include winning the 1st Prize at the 37th Gaudeamus Interpreters'Competition in Amsterdam and the 1st Prize at the Yvar Mikhashoff Trust for New Music Competition in Buffalo, New York. Her exceptional interpretations of contemporary music led her receiving a scholarship for excellence in performance from the Darmstadt International Summer Courses for New Music. She was also nominated for the Classical:Next Innovation Award in Rotterdam.
