Patricia López is an outstanding Uruguayan saxophonist, flutist, teacher, composer and producer
with more than twenty years of national and international experience.
She studied in many cities around the world, graduating from the "Manuel de Falla" Conservatory
(Buenos Aires) as a Superior Jazz Technician (saxophone specialty). At the same time, she received two scholarships from FONAM (Uruguaian Music Fond) and MEC (Ministry of Culture of Uruguay) to continue specializing in jazz, improvisation, composition, and Brazilian popular music in Brazil, New York, and Holland. Some of her teachers were: Carlos Lastra, Ricardo Cavalli, Ramiro Flores, Ernesto Jodos, Carlos Malta, Josué Dos Santos, Floriaan Wempe, Michael Moore, Tony Malaby, Tim Berne, and Rich Perry.
