Tobias M. Hoffmann

Tobias Hoffmann was born in Göppingen (Germany) in 1988 and discovered his passion for music and the saxophone during his high school years. 
From 2008 until 2010 he studied at the University for Music, Drama and Media in Hanover and from 2010 at the Prins Claus Conservatorium Groningen 
(The Netherlands), where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in June 2013. From 2013 until 2015 he studied Jazz Saxophone at the Musik und 
Kunst Universität Wien (Austria) and graduated with a Master of Arts (MA) with distinction. At the same time he studied Jazz Composition and 
Arrangement and graduated with distinction in 2018.

Guitarist and composer Anders Nilsson moved from his native Sweden to New York in 2000. Since then he has performed, recorded and/or toured with Anders Nilsson's AORTA, Mohsen Namjoo, Fay Victor, Ken Filiano, Elliot Sharp, Sabir Mateen, Satoshi Takeishi, David Ambrosio, Michael Attias, Gordon Beeferman, Gerald Cleaver, Raoul Bj?rkenheim, and has composed music for string quartet, film, dance and theatre.
