Album Description

"Paula unlocks the sonic memories of her body, heart, and mind. She gathers writings, chords, samples, and sound effects to craft an album that captures the acoustic landscape of her life. This is her most eclectic sonic journey: she transformed her memories into .wav files, organizing them into a new project for piano and bowed strings. She stocked up on her own collection of sounds: bowls, metal plates, Indian bells, a frame drum, and an ultra-processed guitar. She even recorded the sounds of the earth. I saw her sculpting each sonic fragment as if it were a block of stone. This is no quiet path; it brushes against the poetry of noise, merging the strength and vulnerability of fragility."
