Paula Shocron

Born:
Pianist, composer, performer and educator, born in Rosario, and based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was trained as a classical pianist, from the age of 5, and later studied Composition at Escuela de Música de la Universidad de Rosario (National University). Her musical activity was always focused on improvisation, going deeply in jazz tradition at first, and then opening her language to a more personal (free) music, even extending to other artistic disciplines, (dance, theatre, poetry, etc). Today she has more than 20 records as a leader or co-leader. The most popular "Tensegridad" with SLD Trio, (Germán Lamonega on bass and Pablo Díaz on drums), was released on the well-known Swiss label hatOLOGY and had excellent international reviews
