During Covid lock down in 2020, Dobson did something incredible and daring, selling his home and 99% of his worldly possessions to become a Live Aboard Yachter" with just an acoustic guitar and a thirst for adventure. He cruised to over ten coastal cities, from Coltons Point, Maryland to Sebastian, Florida perfecting his newly acquired mariner skills.
In 2021 he knew he would return to land living. The masks were coming off and music was coming back.
Dobson's exciting new knowledge, coupled with his own new learning concept entitled String Jazz Theory" was ready for his full exploration and application. So the new mission: Apply the “String Jazz Theory” concept to accelerate the transfer of all his musical knowledge to a new instrument, the electric 5 string violin.
