Lollo Meier, finally returns to the UK with two new line ups including clarinet, and for the first time accordion. He'll be performing on Sunday 13th and Monday 14th March at Le QuecumBar, London.
The quartet will transport you back to prewar Paris and the nostalgia and melody of the day in Django style and tradition- the greatest Gypsy Swing guitarist of all time, two special nights of lyrical, swinging and melodic seduction.
He was last here in London in February 2014 whereby he brought musicians together for his love and passion of Gypsy swing and played two back to back concerts for full audiences who were mesmerised by his beautiful and delicate playing so closely mimicking Django Reinhardt, the master.
These will be two very different nights and line ups. The hot club quartet on Sunday including Will Scott from the Old Hat Jazz Band. Will seduces his audience with his nostalgic lilting clarinet playing, and on Monday night Yair Schleider will be playing the accordion. He is known as the Juke Box" for his flexible eclectic music abilities on accordion, piano and cornet. Both nights will be supported by a rock solid rhythm section,
