In songs like 'Infinite Liquidity' and 'Market Maker', inspiration is drawn from the great financial endpoint that also adorns the album series: Margin Call��to cover a loss or be forced to sell.

Balancing hope and integrity, the album explores the idea of an ��end point�� which seemingly forebodes every crisis��and where power imbalances finally break. Towards the end of the album, songs such as 'This is life' and 'Waltz no. 3' offer reconciliatory progress and resolution. The music sounds clear despite a difficult terrain and carries a bright appearance reminiscent of the Swedish musical tradition of

The musicians once again include members of Little Dragon and Franska Trion, with Viktor Tureg?rd on double bass, Erik Bodin on drums and Martin Freidlitz on electric guitar. The album was recorded in Gothenburg by ?ke Linton (E.S.T) in January 2023 and stereo-mastered at the Swedish Grammophone Studio by Hans Olsson. Part of the album is mixed in Dolby Atmos at Spinnroad Studios, Sweden.

The new album Margin Call II is self-released on all digital platforms June 24, 2024.

Gothenburg-based pianist and songwriter Daniel Stahre has released four albums; Notes (Strangers Candy, 2014), Skenet (self-release with poet Sara Paborn, 2017), Margin Call (AMP Music & Records, 2022) and the self-released Margin Call II (dimbank, 2024).With Margin Call II, Daniel is one of the recipients of the 2023 STIM scholarship.

During the 2010��s, Daniel participated and played in the Stockholm pop scene with bands such as Grapell, Humfree Bug Art and Many Voices Speak. With inspiration from instrumental pop, yet progressive and rooted in the Nordic folk music, the songs resonates with the Swedish legacy of Bo Hansson, Bj?rn J:son Lindh and Dungen (Arbetarbladet, 2015)
