��The concept of 3000 REALMS OF 10 WORLDS (July 1 release, self-released) is to divulge many musical styles from different ethnicities and countries around the globe, to explore beyond musical boundaries. The basic core recording sessions started with the trio lineup and then built layers upon these basic trio sessions. I have added overdub layers, from subtle to more involved and intense. I have been exploring and raising the bar with my compositional abilities and this CD features my expanding compositions. I have been arranging classic popular songs and adding my own twist. This CD features a couple of those arrangements. Please enjoy!�� C

The Rob Hart Trio plays an exciting blend of organic traditional jazz, fusion, funk, Latin and textural experimental music, along with high-powered, on-the-edge improvisations. Drummer/percussionist Rob Hart - a San Francisco Bay Area native/resident and Berklee College of Music graduate - is a well-rounded musician, teaching and performing regularly with the Rob Hart Trio in local venues. Rob has also performed/recorded with renowned bassist Kai Eckhardt (John McLaughlin), The Isley Brothers, Dave Mann, Dave Ellis (Charlie Hunter) Larry Grenadier (Pat Metheny, John Scofield, Brad Mehldau) Wil Blades (Will Bernard, Stanton Moore) Marc Van Wageningen (Sheila E., Ray Obiedo), CC Deville (Poison), and Stu Hamm (Joe Satriani/Steve Vai) among others, and has been featured as an opener for Bennie Maupin and Spyro Gyra.

��Drummer-led sessions can be little more than self-indulgent invocations of the leader's chops, but on Rob Hart Trio Live, the San Francisco Bay Area drumming mainstay performs with utmost respect for each arrangement. Yet while Hart's nuanced play is the disc's hallmark, his more muscular talents take flight during free solos on ��Impressions�� and ��Thorn Of A White Rose,�� which serve both as showcases for Hart��s impressive technique as well as demonstrations of his melodic sensibilities at the kit.�� Andy Doerschuk, Editor, DRUM!
