vocalsC'è ovviamente molto Sudafrica ("Mandela, Madiba, We Honor You!" potrebbe venire dai primissimi Blue Notes...), così come c'è swing e molta parola, sia con la Alexander, sia con la spoken poetry di Khari B.
C'è soprattutto, pur nella semplicità e nell'immediatezza delle forme, una grande energia collettiva che si riallaccia alla tradizione del jazz spirituale e di rivendicazione sociale a cavallo tra gli anni Sessanta e Settanta.
L'atmosfera live e ottimi soli si aggiungono ai motivi per cui questo lavoro risulta spontaneo e vero. ">
