Ci�� non toglie che il CD in oggetto possieda svariati elementi di appeal per il potenziale ascoltatore. Anzitutto per la bellezza degli insiemi, quattro fiati pi�� quattro strumenti ritmico-armonici, col corno che, come ben sappiamo, genera una tessitura timbrica assolutamente caratteristica e riconoscibile in qualunque ensemble lo si inserisca (a maggior ragione quando a imbracciarlo �� il leader del gruppo).

Gli interventi solistici non sono da meno, generalmente ben piantati nel tessuto complessivo voluto da Mullens, in un'economia corale che finisce inevitabilmente (e felicemente, diremmo) per prevalere. Brani quali "Amalthea," ben articolato e miscelato, "You Stepped Out of a Dream," lineare quanto solido, "Sylvia D.," quello in cui la scrittura appare pi�� incisiva, e "Naima," per motivi intrinseci ma anche per il felice sviluppo post-tematico, con al centro il sax alto di
